Nanette Milne, Scottish Conservative MSP for the North East has welcomed the news that Aberdeen will be Scotland's first Gigabit city.
Nanette Milne, Scottish Conservative MSP for the North East said:
“The announcement that Aberdeen has been chosen as Scotland’s first Gigabit City is fantastic news for Aberdeen and the North East.
"Businesses and residents alike often depend on quick reliable broadband and will reap the benefits of this funding, providing an economic boost to the area and creating new employment opportunities. It is therefore important that the improvements are delivered as soon as possible.
“Scotland as part of the UK already does more business online than any other European country and widespread access to transformational digital infrastructure will provide a welcome boost to the North East economy.”
