Dr Nanette Milne, Scottish Conservative MSP for the North East has welcomed the publication of the Scottish Government’s Infrastructure Investment Plan, which sets out the long-term investment projects the government wishes to achieve.
However, the North East MSP has called on SNP Ministers to provide a timetable for the project.
Milne says, “I welcome the commitment to dual the A96 between Aberdeen and Inverness which I have been campaigning on for a number of years.
“Although this is a welcome aspiration from SNP Ministers, North East residents will want to see more details of design and timetables for the work to be done.
“For example, in recent months I have seen current plans to improve the A96 at the Inveramsay Bridge which do not include dualing of the road, and I will be seeking further information from SNP Ministers on this matter before.”
