Nanette Milne, Scottish Conservative MSP for the North East has welcomed the announced by Historic Scotland that Tomintoul Croft near Braemar will be one of eight historic buildings which will receive a building repair grant.

“I very much welcome the news that Historic Scotland has awarded Tomintoul Croft, Braemar a building repair grant.
“The croft has a truly remarkable story to tell with the internal roof and walls lined with newspapers from the turn of the last century.
“Historic buildings such as Tomintoul Croft are important, not just to Scotland’s heritage, but to the future of tourism as one of its vital industries.”
