Dr Nanette Milne, Scottish Conservative MSP for the North East and Shadow Minister for Public Health has welcomed the launch of NHS Grampian Breast Cancer Campaign as part of the new Scottish Government Detect Breast Cancer Early programme.
Dr Nanette Milne, Scottish Conservative MSP for the North East and Shadow Minister for Public Health said:
“I welcome the launch of the new breast cancer campaign.
“The campaign aims to improve cancer survival rates by increasing the proportion of Scots diagnosed in the earliest stages of the disease, when a better range of treatment can be made available to patients. I hope that the campaign will help to ‘normalise’ the discussion around breast cancer in a way that gives women across the North East the confidence to acknowledge, discuss and seek help about any concerns which they may have.”
