Nanette Milne, Scottish Conservative MSP for the North East and Shadow Minister for Sport has welcomed the news that the Scottish Rugby Union has chosen Aberdeen Footballs Clubs, Pittodrie Stadium as the venue for the test match between Scotland and Tonga on 24 November 2012.

“I very much welcome the news that the Scottish Rugby Union has chosen Pittodrie as the venue for the test match between Scotland and Tonga in November.
“I have consistently championed bringing major sporting events to the North East and I hope that the Scotland v Tonga test match will prove to be a great sporting occasion.
“The Scottish Rugby Union have a positive record of providing opportunities to young people to experience games and I hope that the Aberdeen test match will provide such an opportunity for North East youngsters from schools across the area to attend the match and experience international rugby in this corner of Scotland.”
