Scottish Conservatives have called for a timetable for work to commence on the AWPR at Dyce Drive.
Nanette Milne, Scottish Conservative MSP for the North East said:
“Anyone who has driven to Aberdeen Airport will be acutely aware of the unacceptable congestion which has built up at both the airport and along Dyce Drive.
“It is clear that this new North East bottle neck has become yet another major traffic concern with North East residents demanding a timetable for when work on the AWPR will commence at Dyce Drive.
“I fully support calls by Aberdeen Airport for work to commence on the northern leg of the AWPR in order to address the congestion which exists at both the airport and Dyce Drive. I have raised this in Parliament in the past and called for work to commence on the Northern leg.
“I have written to the Transport Minister, Keith Brown MSP to ask for this to be investigated and I hope that this positive suggestion could commence as part of the work to construct northern leg of the AWPR at the earliest opportunity.”
